Coding with Claude Code & Fable 5

Claude Fable 5 is at its best inside an agent harness like Claude Code, where it can plan across stages, delegate to sub-agents, and check its own work over long sessions. These hands-on video tutorials show how to put that into practice.

Since Fable 5 returned globally on July 1, 2026, it has been available in Claude Code behind stricter safety classifiers. It posts the leading published SWE-Bench Pro score (80.3%) and is designed to sustain focus across long, complex tasks - which is exactly what agentic coding demands. The videos below walk through real workflows, from intent-driven development to building an entire design system.

Before you start

  • Enable usage credits. Since July 7, 2026, Fable 5 on Claude plans is metered via usage credits at $10 / $50 per million tokens. Set a spending cap in the Claude Console first.
  • Reserve Fable 5 for hard tasks. Use Opus 4.8 (included on plans) for routine work and escalate to Fable 5 for large migrations and long agentic runs.
  • Keep a verification loop. Long autonomous sessions benefit from tests and review gates so you can trust the result without watching every step.
